Lived in Manitoba (0-2), Saskatchewan (2-12), Manitoba (12-19). Graduated at 16. Rebuilt grandpa's 1949 Mercury pickup. Left Kola (pop. 80), 1979.

California

Drove '49 Merc to Christian Heritage College, San Diego. Started programming Apple ][ Plus. Founded JEM Software (girlfriend's initials). Earned Secondary Ed/English degree. Married girlfriend. Taught high school in Hesperia, CA. Returned to San Diego. Wrote Apple software for Beagle Bros. Two daughters.

Colorado

Moved to Denver, 1990. Resumed playing hockey. First son. Boy/girl twins. Taught high school. Office job for a decade. Returned to full-time programming at home. First grandchild. Started playing hockey with adult sons. Began leading history tours to Europe. Created WW2 board game. Eighth grandchild. Launched podcast. Became American citizen.
